Reece
Reece has been interested in fitness his entire life. He became a competition swimmer at the age of 4. At 16 he started out as a long distance runner in high school, and began bodybuilding at the age of 21. After 15 years of this 'non-competition,' amateur weight training he became interested in the meditative qualities of yoga upon, among other reasons, reading about Bikram, a celebrated bodybuilder who also later became a yogi.
He has been practicing yoga ever since, and at the age of 39, and after 7 years of elementary education, decided to pursue a second career as a yoga instructor and is a graduate of the Yoga Den™ 200 hour Teacher Training program. He incorporates a broad range of disciplines, anywhere from a restorative 'hatha' yoga, to the more strenuous 'ashtanga' style. Please join him on his personal journey.

Sandra Perry
Sandra began her yoga journey in 1999 and has been in love with yoga ever since. She immediately noticed the benefits of power yoga, not just physically but mentally as well. Uniting the mind with the body through the BREATH, Sandra discovered that a quiet mind and open heart allowed her to enjoy being in the moment! Wanting to share the many benefits of yoga, Sandra became a yoga instructor and is a graduate of the Yoga Den™ 200 hour Teacher Training program. Practices are fun, filled with eclectic music and powerful flows allowing the mind to surrender -- to just BREATHE.

Susannah Baker
Susannah started practicing yoga in 2005 during her freshman year at The College of Charleston. Desperately looking for a way to shed the “Freshman 15”, she found power yoga. It did not take long before she discovered that yoga provided so much more than exercise.
Looking to incorporate yoga in to all areas of her life, she recently completed Yoga Den™ 200 hour Teacher Training program. Finding humility, grace, strength and above all breath, Susannah tries to practice yoga on and off the mat. Her classes are high energy and fun. Come ready to breathe, sweat, and flow! |

Betsy Weiss
Betsy began her journey in yoga 9 years ago when she moved to Jacksonville from Illinois. Betsy is a long-time athlete with a background in weight lifting, dance, running, and spinning. She found yoga to be a peaceful, more gentle way to stay fit!
Betsy graduated from the Yoga Den™ 200 hour Teacher Training program, and now enjoys teaching mind/body yoga at Yoga Den. As an LMT, she has developed a deep knowledge of the body and it's movement through massage therapy and pulls from that knowledge to build her classes. Her goal is to strengthen and stretch areas of the body that are common problems for many people - to leave you feeling free and balanced to flow through your day.
Betsy's decision to become a yoga teacher was after many years of practice working with fascia, connective tissue that runs throughout the body and around the muscles. Blending the two together can be a powerful and effective way to combat chronic pain and stay pro-active for a pain free healthy body. |
